Challenge: Guinness was losing brand recognition in rugby to competitors. So, in 2019 they became title partner of The Six Nations. Our challenge was to activate the sponsorship beyond the TV ad to ensure Guinness was the most talked about and shared brand.
Idea: We delivered a cross-platform attack utilising innovative paid media formats and partnerships, telling the story of The Guinness Six Nations with reactive stories under the ‘Made Of More’ line.
Highlights: Exceeded all previous engagement records, awarded best in class for use of Facebook ads and retained as lead agency to activate the sponsorship in 2020 without a TVC.
